This is a full-time, salaried position where you will analyze, design, and implement QA solutions for a range of backend and frontend projects as a QA engineer with our QA Studio team. Our QA Studio is not tied to a specific client, but rather serves as a QA resource within our company to augment our client-facing teams’ QA capacities on either a temporary or permanent basis depending on the project’s needs. This means that, as a member of our QA Studio team, you will work across a variety of projects and technologies, coordinating with your QA Studio teammates, your client-facing team of the moment, and the client to devise and create both manual and automated tests.

You are excellent at doing the following:

  • Collaborate with your teammates and clients to architect, design, and implement test plans (both manual and automated) across a variety of industries and stacks.
  • Write clean code and robust tests, and create clear documentation for the tests you create.
  • Work in an Agile environment with geographically dispersed teams.
  • Thoroughly learn and document your project’s user flows.
  • Identify and report both bugs and opportunities for improvement.
  • Review teammates' code as needed.

What will make you a perfect fit

  • 3+ years of professional experience with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, Robot, or Cypress.
  • Experience crafting and documenting test plans.
  • A teammate who is willing to share their knowledge & technical skills, and who is eager to learn new technologies, frameworks and processes.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A team player who can work well in a collaborative environment.
  • Experience in a business analyst role, as you will be involved in process discussions with your clients.
  • Experience with git and the git-flow process.
  • Experience working with relational databases.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum, Kanban, etc).
  • Experience with continuous integration tooling.
  • An understanding of HIPAA-compliant code and infrastructure.
